Next we are going to show you what the benefits of aeroyoga are and why we should practice it.

Benefits of the wind turbine

In addition to being a great stress reliever, there are some health benefits related to the practice of aerobics. As Bill Davis, the director of The Athletic Club, says, anyone with back problems should do aero-jogging. According to Davies, this yoga modality is better than an inversion board, since it gives us the possibility to hang ourselves freely, allowing our spine to stretch. Many users have confirmed Davies' words, even people with sciatica have found a way to ease their pain.

In addition to decompressing the spine, another of the advantages of aero-yoga is that it helps us to increase our strength and flexibility, such as gaining greater awareness of our body.

Why practice aerobics?

Air yoga is not just an alteration of yoga that combines different styles of exercise, so if you have never practiced yoga this is no problem. In fact, the instructors usually come from other fitness backgrounds such as pilates, gymnastics or dance.

So, how do we prepare for our planet to be turned upside down? The most essential thing is to have an open psyche and to put aside each and every hope, says Bill Davies. It is essential to perceive the instructor carefully and trust the hammock.

We should not worry about the gymnastic movements we make on the hammock as it can hold up to a ton of weight. Therefore, no matter what your anatomical weight or your Anatomical Mass Index (BMI) is, you will be safe on top of one of these. As Davies says, once you have overcome your initial fear you will be able to enjoy everything this training has to offer.

Air yoga may seem like intimidating training at first but it can be truly exciting and enjoyable. Many gyms and fitness centers offer aerobics classes for both beginners and advanced aerobics students. Try this training and maybe you'll discover your favorite way to exercise.

Is it safe to practice aerobics?

Air yoga is a safe way to exercise and each and every class must have a certified air yoga instructor. Your instructor will teach you the proper postures for each exercise so that you do not suffer any injuries.

In addition, the height at which you are suspended when doing aero-yoga is not more than one meter, although you can make the necessary adjustments to make the class more challenging. Therefore, the danger of injury from a fall is almost nil.

Due to the nature of the class, its turns and also investments, the aeroyoga is not recommended for women who are pregnant. In addition to this, if you have had eye surgery lately, you suffer from vertigo, a hip prosthesis or stress problems, we advise you to consult your doctor before beginning to perform this type of gymnastic exercise.
